JANURARY 2, 2007
NatureWalk’s 8,500 sq ft “Welcome Center” is now open!  The magnificent facility was host to a Holiday Open House and art exhibit featuring the woodturning works of local artist of the year, Bill Stephenson.  Stephenson is renowned throughout the region for his wood creations made from raw wood materials salvaged from construction, railroad, rivers and other various sites.

Final design and planning is well underway for the “Gathering Place”, NatureWalk’s central amenity area. The Gathering Place will be over 2.75 acres in size and will include an 8500 sf clubhouse with a fitness center and grill, a large event lawn with a covered stage, a huge swimming pool with interactive water features for children, expansive sun decks , a playground… and a picnic area with shelters, barbecue grills and a fire pit. Construction is scheduled to begin in late summer 2007.

All infrastructure including roads, street signage, utilities, landscaping and trail systems have been completed in Phase I.

NOVEMBER 1, 2006
October brought a flurry of activities at NatureWalk at Seagrove.

We put the finishing touches on our signature, hand-built, 800 ft. wooden entry bridge.  The view from the bridge into the wetlands and forest is truly amazing.

The Welcome Center is open and ready for your visit. With a generous floor plan of over 8,500 sq ft the facility is bright, open, airy and inviting. Architectural features include craftsman woodwork by Peter Brown, an amazing Tabby stucco fireplace and impeccable decor by Hughes, Litton & Godwin. We invite you to stop in to see us and take a serene tour of the community. Lots are now available in limited releases.

NatureWalk's unique location brings frequent visitors from Point Washington State Forest. We regularly spot a few deer and several red-tailed hawks during our cool mornings and late afternoons.
